European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Swedish furniture manufacturer Ikea announced on 19 February 2007 that it is going to invest in a new store in Fleury sur Orne (Calvados) in the north of Paris. The store will open in winter 2010 and Ikea, the second largest retailer of furniture in France, is expecting to create 350 new jobs before December 2010. Ikea France has confirmed its plans to own 40 stores in the country by 2016.
