Helios Metalurg is the first metallurgy enterprise built with green field investment after 1989 in Bulgaria. The factory has been built in two years and is equipped with the latest technology, which guarantees the ecological safety of the production, said the manager Vassil Vassilev. Helios Metalurg has created 160 new jobs. The main activity of the company is reinforcing steel for the construction industry. Production is directed at the domestic market, but in a year the company is planning to export to Balkan countries and the EU.
