European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Katowicki Holding Węglowy, a mining company, will hire 1,700 workers in 2007 to replace employees leaving work on health and age grounds. It is estimated that the Polish coal mining sector will hire some 4,500 persons throughout 2007.
