Description

After around ten months of industrial action, workers at Phosphoric Fertilisers Industry (BFL), a chemical plant in Thessaloniki, have succeeded in preventing the closure of the plant. Although the company continues to operate, some 200 employees have been dismissed. A draft bill is expected to be submitted to the parliament specifying the terms of exit for redundant and resigning employees.
