Description
A. Santos, a pottery factory located in Caldas da Rainha, closed on 15 January 2007. This closure affects 135 workers, with an average age of 40 years old. As a result of the decision, the contracts of these workers have been suspended.
The manager believes that it will be possible to re-opened the factory and to re-admit all the workers if the company's financial situation is sorted out. This decision will be made by the creditor Assembly at the end of March.
