Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Kesko Food's subsidiary Kespro Ltd has started personnel negotiations concerning 90 employees in telephone sales. Kespro is planning on centralising the telephone sales customer service to Vantaa. The aim is to ensure development of long term competitiveness for the company. At the same time, the company will continue to focus strongly on serving existing customers and new e-customer acquisition.
Kespro employs total of 550 employees in telephone sales in Finland.
