Description

The German automobile equipment supplier Metzeler announced on 5 January 2007 the loss of 310 jobs in its factory of Charleval (Eure). The unit, which manufactures parts for the car, currently employs 940 people. The cuts will take place between January 2007 and December 2008. This decision responds to the loss of contracts with automobile manufacturers. Part of the production will be delocalised in Tunisia.
