Description
Armatis, the French telemarketing and call centre group, announced on 26 December 2006 the opening of a new call centre in Caen, representing its fourth provincial call centre. The company has invested 1.8 million EUR in the facility equipment in Calvados with 150 employees hired earlier in 2006. The company, which is the fifth largest call centre group in France, will create some 300 call centre jobs between January and June 2007.
The call centre will serve between six and eight company customers, including the telecommunications company Neuf Cegetel and the TV broadcaster Canal+. The site is expected to become the group's main call centre employing 2,500 people and reaching a turnover of 55 million EUR.
