European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The ski resort operator Skistar has decided to cut 200 temporary jobs in Sälen as a result of the lack of snow. Jonas Mareniusson, local director in Sälen, described the decision as unfortunate and added that the company would take on those who have been laid off as soon as there is enough snow.
