European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The commercial court announced on 22 December 2006 that Maxilivres, a company specialised in trade of books and newspapers, which filed for bankruptcy in November 2006, would belong to Avenir Telecom group as of January 2007. After acquisition, Avenir Télécom will employ 166 people in 54 out of 59 retail stores and will cut 394 jobs between January and June 2007.
