Description

Some 1,200 employees are in danger of losing their jobs at Pápai Hús, a subsidiary of Carnex group. Carnex, Hungary's second largest meat processing company, has faced severe financial difficulties at other Hungarian units as well, such as Békéscsaba, Gyöngyös, Orosháza, etc., which have gone under liquidation already. Liquidation process has been launched against Pápai Hús as well.
