Saab Automobile, the car manufacturer, is going to cut 204 jobs in Trollhättan (160 manual workers and 44 administrative employees) as a result of the continuing rationalisation efforts being made by the company. 'Effectiveness has improved by 7 to 15% in recent years', said the information director of the company, Christer Nillson. A retirement and severance benefit plan has been defined by the company and presented to the employees.
