European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Due to reduction of quotas for the sugar production in the EU, Eastern Sugar Company will close its subsidiary also in Slovakia. The sugar factory in Dunajská Streda will close soon and, a mass dismissal will take place there. The closure will affect 180 employees and 118 white beet producers in the country.
