Description

Sanmina-SCI, which is specialised in the production of enclosure systems, announced on 20 November 2006 that it would cut 95 jobs at its unit in Forserum as a result of a decline in orders. Some 315 people are currently employed at the company’s plant in Forserum, including 140 fixed-term employees. According to the company, the implementation of the redundancy plan is to be achieved by 22 March 2007. Negotiations with trade unions are expected to start soon.
