Description
The commercial court of Epinal (Vosges) announced on 28 November 2006 that Nomexy, the cotton factory, is bankrupt and it to be closed. The company employed 103 people, most of them women.
In the last three years the company has undergone a very difficult financial situation in spite of a 12 million euro investment in 2005 for new machines to produce compact cotton wire with strong added value.
