Description

The telecom company Relacom is planning to cut 400 jobs in Sweden and introduce six-days working weeks. Southern, Western and central Sweden will be most affected by the redundancy plan.

According to the trade union SEKO, dismissals are the result of the pressure by Relacom’s client Telia. Earlier this year, Relacom laid off 450 people. Relacom used to be called Flextronics until it was sold to Altor and merged with Telavo last summer.
