Description

Vinprom - Pestera has expanded its manufacturing capacity with a new factory producing alcoholic beverages. The company has invested BGN 2 million, said Ivan Papazov, the company's executive director. The new plant will produce Sixth Sense gin, Captain Fred white and red rum, spearmint Pestera, etc. The expansion resulted in hiring of some 180 workers. According to Mr Papazov, up to now all investments aimed to reach the EU standards and to enable the company to compete on the world market. The factory will be fully renewed in the near future. Vinprom Pestera is the biggest Bulgarian wine buyer and at the same time it has its own vineyards of 1,200 ha. It has also its own winery built with the financial support of SAPARD programme.
