Description

German ZF Sachs Corporation, which is one of the biggest European producers of components for motor vehicles, expands its business in Slovakia. Company management decided to invest around EUR 75 million in order to establish a new production plant in Levice industrial park (previously a huge Hankook's greenfield investment was planned there). Components for car chassis and transmission elements will be produced in the new plant, which is expected to be completed in the first half of 2007. Employment will grow gradually and up to 1,100 new jobs will be created there in the next five years.
