Description
The group Pierre et Vacances announced on 20 November 2006 the opening of a leisure park in Laon. It will be run by holiday village operator Center Parcs, a subsidiary company of Pierre et Vacances, and it will be the fourth leisure park of the company in France after the ones in Normandie, Sologne and Moselle. The business expansion plan envisages the creation of 690 new jobs in Laon between January and July 2007. The group also mentioned the possibility of opening another Center Parc in France in a town in the Rhône Alpes. The decision will be made in the coming months. Pierre et Vacances currently employs 8,600 people in the world.
