Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Katowicki Holding Węglowy plans to hire 1,300 employees this year, most of them to work underground in the coal mines. These recruitment needs are caused by the fact that some of the company's employees have retired due to age or stopped working on account of disabilities. At present, Katowicki Holding Węglowy employs 20,300 people.
