Description
On 8 November 2006, Tui, one of Germanys leading tourism and shipping companies, announced its plans to cut 100 jobs out of nearly 200 jobs at its affiliate Airtours.
Airtours, specialised as a travel agency, is expected to move its headquarters from Frankfurt to Hanover as part of the reorganising strategy for its German business. The relocation will entail a loss of 100 jobs. The job cuts shall be completed by the end of October 2007.
