European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 2 November 2006, the chemical company BASF announced another cost-saving programm which will lead to the cut of about 2,000 of its current 94,000 jobs worldwide.
Job cuts will affect BASF subsidiaries in Germany, Spain, China and the USA.
