Description

Italy’s Marcegaglia is going to build a new plant in Kluczbork (in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone), manufacturing steel pipes. The company plans to hire 400 people by the end of 2007. Marcegaglia has already got a plant in Praszka, where 40 people are employed.

According to the information of 21.05.2007. Marcegaglia is planning to increase its investment in Kluczbork, expending 250 million EUR on a new factory (rather than 40 million EUR, as originally planned). The new plant will commence production in 2008, and it will have a workforce of 1,000 persons.
