DHL Express opened up a modern terminal in Åódź on 25 October 2006. The terminal employs 140 people. It is a package mailing terminal for customers in Åódź and its vicinity and as the reload centre for express packages transported between other DHL terminals across Poland. The terminal also services international packages transported by road and by air on DHL network.
According to the information of 02 April 2007 DHL is going to employ 400 people in the centre in Åódź.
