Description

Solectron, the US-based manufacturer of electronic equipment and subassemblies, intends to increase the number of employees in the TimiÅŸoara factory by more than 800 workers in the next three months. It was announced by Fabrice Gomez, general manager of the TimiÅŸoara branch.

At present, the company has its global strategic base in TimiÅŸoara with 2,400 permanent and 800 fixed-term employees and is producing 35% of the European equipment production worth EUR 1.2 billion.

„Timisoara has a strategic importance for the Solectron's operations at global level”, stated Fabrice Gomez, the general manager of the Romanian factory.
