Description
Czech leading crystal glassware producer, Jihlavské sklárny Bohemia, has ceased handmade production and thus will dismiss about 200 people by the end of January 2007. The company has been undergoing restructuring process since July 2002 when the bankruptcy was declared. The company used to employ 1,200 people but there have been continuous cutbacks under the new owner Burson Properties (as of February 2003). Now, the company employs some 700 people.
