The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
German aviation group Lufthansa announced on 18 October 2006 its plans to increase its Munich-based workforce by 750 to cope with its business expansion at this location. 500 out of these new jobs will be created for flight attendants.
According to the company's press release, Lufthansa is to start an international recruiting campaign providing 2,500 jobs for Service Professionals and Flight attendants.
The aviation company has a global workforce of 92,303.
