Description
International public company Eastern Sugar considers closing of three plants (Němčice nad Hanou, Kojetín, Hrochův Týnec) in the Czech Republic as a part of its restructuring plan across the Central Europe. The reason is the EU price cuts and a significant reduction in the sugar production by 4 million tonnes per year. The company employs 400 people in the country.
