Description

A call centre in Belfast has announced it is to create 300 new jobs. The company, Gem, is searching for extra staff after it won four new contracts, including one with the online entertainment company Play.com.

Gem spokesman Dermot Walsh said the company had already started recruiting for the positions. News of the new jobs follows Gem's announcement last week of a new contract win with Channel 4. The company has also recently won two new contracts within the travel and online-dating sector.
