Description
By the end of October 2006 German BenQ intends to lay off 170 employees of the Software Development Centre based in Wrocław. The job reductions are caused by insolvency of the mother company, BenQ Mobile of Munich. Siemens Software Development Centre in Wrocław was established in 2001 and employs 350 computer scientists developing software for mobile phones.
