Description

Taiwanese company Delta Energy Systems plans to invest around 500 million SKK in Slovakia. New subsidiary will produce electronic power units and their parts in Dubnica nad Váhom, where the machinery industry has a long tradition. According to Delta Energy Systems CEO Daniel Heri, around 1,000 new jobs will be created in the new production plant. Delta management intends to hire around 350 employees from the nearby company ZTS Elektronika ES, which currently cooperates with Delta. However, the recruitment of the employees for the new plant can be problematic because the unemployment rate in the region is below 5%. New production plant is designed to protect the environment and reduce the expenditures on energy as much as possible.

Delta Group started the production in its Slovak subsidiary in May 2007. The Investor received a state aid from the Slovak Government in amount of 175 million SKK. The state aid will be utilized for reduction of the corporate taxes.
