Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
KPIT-Infosystems Central Europe, the Polish unit of KPIT Cummins (India's IT company) announced that it started to operate in Wrocław, where an information and accounting services centre was opened. The Centre is going to provide services to KPIT Cummins's customers from all over the world. It has just started recruiting accountants. By March 2007 the company will have employed more than 100 people. By the end of July 2011 this number is to be increased to 500. The Wrocław-based services centre will specialise in business and IT outsourcing services for corporate customers. The estimated value of the investment is up to USD 20 million.
