European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Dupont Vaucouleurs, a French manufacturer of industrial painting, announced an internal restructuring on 21 September 2006. The company, that employs 323 people in its unit in Yvelines, is expected to cut 103 jobs between October 2006 and January 2007. Dupont Vaucouleurs is experiencing financial difficulties as a result of decreased production in the French car industry since the second half of 2006.
