Description

Tallink Grupp is one of the biggest enterprises in Estonia. It is operating five passenger ferries, four high-speed vessels and two cargo vessels on four lines. Registering one of the ferries Regina Baltica in Latvia and giving the ferry a Latvian flag has left 300 Estonian workers without their jobs. The news was announced by the trade union of Tallink. Therefore on 25 September the trade union will organise a picket to protest against Estonian ships carrying foreign flags and to support Estonian sailors.
