European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Rewe international trade company based in Germany will invest 130 million euro in Poland in the next five years. Rewe will increase the number of Billa and Selgross supermarkets from 31 to 90 (the number of Billa supermarkets will have gone up from 22 to 70) by the end of 2010. Employment will rise by more than 1000 persons (at the moment Rewe Polska employs 5500 people).
