European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Polish press distributor Ruch is restructuring and will dismiss 130 people. In the beginning of this year 100 people have already been dismissed. The restructuring also involves renegotiating suppliers’ costs and extending opening hours of Ruch shops. The restructuring process is scheduled to last three years. At present Ruch employs 5800 people.
