Altran Technologies SA, a French company founded in 1982, has pioneered innovation consultancy and announced on 11 September 2006 that Altran France Rhône would recruit 150 new engineers between October and December 2006. The company, that currently employs 600 people in Rhône Alpes, is experiencing growth as a result of the increased number of contracts signed with other companies. Altran brings together the entire range of engineering and consulting specialties, from physical sciences, electronics and information technology, through industrial systems engineering, to strategic and management consultancy. Altran has become the European leader in this area, one of its major ambitions being to become the world leader in innovation consultancy.
