Description
Cable group NTL-Telewest is closing three call centres as it reorganises its customer service operation. The company is closing the centres in Edinburgh, Coventry and Liverpool, but is hoping to relocate as many employees as possible.
It has told 150 employees in Edinburgh that they plan to transfer the call centre work but say they will not be losing their jobs. However, more than 100 staff in Coventry and Liverpool have been told they are at risk of redundancy.
