The Italian group Marcegaglia plans to build a steel pipe factory in Kluczbork in the Legnica Special Economic Zone. The factory will initially employ 170 workers, and employment may eventually grow to 400 (with the exact number of new recruitments depending on market conditions). At the same time, Marcegaglia will expand its existing factory in Praszka (also in the Legnica Special Economic Zone), which produces heat exchangers for refrigerators, doubling its workforce to 88.
