Description

On 1 August 2006 the IT service provider AGIS, a subsidiary of the German financial service group Allianz, announced its plans to outsource part of its activities. The company hopes to find a partner for these activities by the beginning of 2007. According to AGIS, the new partner is expected to hire 600 out of the current 1986 persons employed at AGIS. The move follows announcements by Allianz Group to reduce its costs for IT-services.
