Description

The Dutch group TNT Express (express delivery services company) has decided to invest 90 million euros in its distribution centre in Liege. TNT intends to enlarge this centre in order to handle twice as much freight as it does today. Currently, the centre can handle 80,000 packages per day, which are re-despatched in around a hundred trucks and forty planes. The planned extension will particularly allow Liège airport to deal with freight to and from China. 250 new jobs are likely to be created.
