Description

Toyota is planning to expand its Polish operations, increasing employment at its two existing factories by 580 persons. This decision is actuated by growing European demand for Toyota vehicles and by the good results posted by its Polish factories (in Wałbrzych and in Jelcz-Laskowice, producing diesel engines and transmission systems) to date. Toyota will hire 230 new employees for the Jelcz-Laskowice facility (in addition to the present workforce of 750) and 350 new employees for Wałbrzych (in addition to the present 2,000).
