European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 27 July 2006 the German food discount chain Plus announced to create 2000 new jobs and to provide 200 new apprenticeships in the 'forthcoming years'(no precise employment timeline given). This job creation is due to business expansion involving a refurbishment of the outlets.
