Description
The German chain Kaufland has opened its first super-market in Sofia. Every day, exactly 1,000 of the goods in the shop will be offered on the lowest prices on the market, said the director of Kaufland–Bulgaria Mr. Dimitar Spasov. The German chain already has one shop in Plovdid, the second biggest city in Bulgaria. According to the plans, such shops will be opened in every town in the country with more than 60–70,000 citizens. "Our main purpose is to sell goods with high quality on low prices, that’s why all other expenses are minimized", the management said. "We have an aggressive price policy", said Mr. Spasov. "But all allegations that we sell on prices under those of our suppliers, do not respond to the truth", he added.
