Rieės plantacija is a new company in Vilnius region, which was established in the beginning of 2006. The main activity of the company is the growing of mushrooms. Presently, the company is working only at partial capacity but it is planned to increase the capacity of work and to employ 110 new workers in a few weeks time. There are 28 premises equipped for growing mushrooms, which takes up 14,000 square metres. More than 90 per cent of the production will be exported to Scandinavian countries, Germany, Ukraine and Russia.
