Description
Workers at a former RAF base in Stafford are to hold a demonstration to save 500 civilians jobs at the site. The Army's 570-strong 22 Signals Regiment officially took over the base earlier in July 2006. It will become operational at the site in April 2007. But 500 civilian staff will be made redundant when the storage and distribution centre shuts next year.
