European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Nearly 600 jobs will be created in Hereford with the building of a number of new retail developments, including an Asda supermarket which will employ 400 people. A government spokesman said the extra employment will provide a great boost for job seekers and the local economy. Special training is being provided to help people who are unemployed to apply for the vacancies. No dates were provided for when the store would open.
