Description

Until the end of 2006, EPIQ Electronic Assembly will invest € 3 million into its two workshops near Botevgrad, manager Nikolay Berov announced. The investment is planned to be used to enlarge and modernise the equipment. EPIQ was established in 1997 and is specialised in assembling electronic modules and production of high-temperature sensors. Nearly 90% of EPIQ’s production is used in motor vehicle production. Among the main clients of the company are BMW, General Motors, Daimler Crysler etc.

EPIQ currently has 1,900 employees, incl. 160 engineers. Some 750 of them were hired in the period October 2005 - July 2006. The plan of the managements foresees 200 new jobs to be created in 2007.
