Description

Economic development agency Scottish Enterprise has announced 100 job cuts. The losses were announced as the agency unveiled its strategy for the next three years. It wants to concentrate its efforts on areas where it believes it can make a big difference to Scotland's economy. Commenting on the job losses, Chief Executive Jack Perry said: 'This will mainly be achieved through natural turnover and there will be no redundancy programme in the short-term.'
