European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The French group: Carrefour (75,000 employees), number two of the distribution in the world, has announced that the group will recruit 9,000 new employees (including 3,000 apprentices) before December 2006. The Carrefour group has defined a plan of business expansion because the group records a strong development in France.
